The winning ticket, worth $1 million, was sold at Horizon Pharmacy III on Broadway in Elmhurst for the March 18 Powerball drawing.

The prize was awarded for matching all five white balls, just missing the Powerball, which secures the game’s second-tier payout.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
