Naked man found in teen’s bedroom shot at by father before arrest

A midnight home invasion involving a minor ended in gunfire and arrest after a drone-led manhunt in Boone County.

FLORENCE, KY — A 20-year-old man was arrested early Monday after being found naked in a 13-year-old girl’s bedroom by her father, who fired multiple shots while the suspect fled the home, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:33 a.m. on the 700 block of Brittany Trail. Deputies were dispatched to the residence after the girl’s father called 911 to report a shots fired incident involving an unknown male discovered in his daughter’s room.

According to the sheriff’s report, the father confronted the man, later identified as Parker D. Kramer of Louisville, who was lying unclothed next to the girl. After announcing he was calling the police, the father retrieved a handgun. Kramer allegedly pushed past him and fled out the front door, prompting the father to fire three shots outside the home. No injuries were reported.

Deputies found an unoccupied vehicle nearby that was linked to the suspect. Using a photograph attached to the vehicle registration, the father confirmed Kramer’s identity. A drone deployed during a subsequent aerial search located the suspect near Mt. Zion Road and I-75 around 2:34 a.m., where he was taken into custody.

Suspect allegedly made incriminating admissions to detectives

Kramer was interviewed by a detective and reportedly admitted he had traveled from Louisville to meet the victim at her home, leading to allegations of additional crimes. According to the sheriff’s office, those admissions resulted in added charges of rape and sodomy.

He now faces one count of burglary in the second degree, two counts of rape in the second degree, and one count of sodomy in the second degree. He is being held at the Boone County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.

“The drone deployment was successful in that it located the suspect near Mt. Zion Road and I-75,” the sheriff’s office noted in its official release.

Charges against Kramer are pending trial. Authorities emphasized that the allegations remain accusations and must be proven in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
