Naples teen arrested for social media threats against ICE agents deputies say

NAPLES, Fla. – An 18-year-old Collier County man has been arrested after authorities say he posted threats of violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on social media.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Holden Manning was charged with written threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism, a second-degree felony under Florida law.

Deputies said the investigation began after receiving a tip about an online post calling for the murder of ICE agents. Detectives determined Manning was responsible for the message and located him Friday afternoon, taking him into custody without incident. He was booked into the Collier County Jail.

Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said in a statement that threats against law enforcement would be met with firm action. “The safety of our local, state and federal law enforcement officers is non-negotiable,” Rambosk said. “We must uphold the rule of law and that includes lawful actions and appropriate consequences for those that criminally threaten our law enforcement officers.”
