Salmonella infection can cause serious and sometimes fatal illness, particularly among young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals typically experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain; in rare cases, the infection can spread to the bloodstream, leading to severe complications.
Production of Live it Up Super Greens has been suspended while the company and the FDA continue investigating the source of contamination. No other Live it Up products are included in this recall.
Consumers are urged not to eat, sell, or serve the recalled product and to dispose of it immediately. Refunds may be requested by emailing recall@artofenso.com with a name, order number, and a photo of the product showing the affected lot code.
The FDA and CDC continue to monitor the salmonella outbreak tied to the recalled Live it Up Super Greens products.
