Neptune Home Depot Volunteers Help Revitalize Local American Legion Post

NEPTUNE, NJ – On July 24, volunteers from the Neptune Home Depot undertook a significant project to refurbish American Legion Post 346, contributing their skills and time to enhance the facility. The team engaged in several activities including power washing the building, painting the front facade and entrance portal, and refreshing the steel doors.

In addition to these renovations, the volunteers assembled and set up new patio furniture, made possible through a generous grant from the Home Depot Foundation. This effort not only improved the aesthetic and functionality of the Post but also provided a pleasant outdoor area for members and guests.

As a token of appreciation, the Post provided a pizza lunch for all the volunteers, celebrating the successful completion of the project and the continued partnership between the community and its veterans.
