Las Vegas, NV – A man faces two counts of open murder following an incident involving his parents. Adrian Bailey, 27, allegedly killed Roger and Kristine Bailey at their home on December 27.
Bailey called 911 at 11:30 p.m. declaring he needed to be arrested for murder. He stated he had killed his parents, claiming he could not take the abuse any longer.
When police arrived, Bailey had left the initial location but called again, expressing a desire for the officers to “kill him on sight.” During this call, he displayed signs of distress and admitted to drinking prior to the incident.
Officers reached Bailey at 11:45 p.m., arresting him at a different location. He appeared to have blood on his skin and clothing during the arrest.
Roger Bailey was found deceased at the scene. Kristine Bailey was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. Both victims sustained blunt force trauma and were located in their living room.
A baseball bat was recovered at the scene, along with blood spatter on the wall.
Neighbors reported that the Baileys had been experiencing difficulties with their son.
Adrian Bailey underwent a court appearance where a judge ordered him held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center. Another court appearance is imminent.
