New Castle, DE – Delaware State Police apprehended 33-year-old Michael Martino from New Castle following a burglary incident at a commercial building early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday at around 6:10 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the AT&T building at 65 Southgate Boulevard due to a repeated alarm. He followed instructions to descend the catwalk and was arrested without incident.

The investigation revealed Martino had caused significant damage to the roof, which served as his entry point into the building.

Martino was subsequently taken to Troop 2, where he faced charges including Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree (Felony), Criminal Mischief $5,000 or More (Felony), and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree. After being arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, he was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
