Police Respond to Domestic Dispute on Simpson Street

Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Saturday, police officers responded to a reported domestic dispute on Simpson Street.

The incident was reported at 9:29 PM involving 29-year-old Julio Arias Cabrera and a 27-year-old female resident of Wilkes-Barre. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with the victim.

The victim indicated a verbal dispute with Cabrera regarding marital issues escalated into physical violence. She reported being struck in the face and right arm by Cabrera, leaving visible injuries.

Police took Julio Arias Cabrera into custody. He was then transported to City Headquarters for processing and arraignment.
