July 26, 2024

BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Mayor Lisa Crate and Councilwoman Heather deJong participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Icarus Brewing Taproom on Route 88, marking the official opening of the long-anticipated establishment.

Icarus Brewing, founded in 2017 in Lakewood Township, has quickly risen to prominence as one of New Jersey’s top craft brewers. The new taproom at 2045 Route 88 expands Icarus’ presence and is expected to become a popular destination for craft beer enthusiasts in the area.

Mayor Crate and the Township Council, known for their strong support of local businesses, expressed their excitement about Icarus joining the Brick Township business community. “We are thrilled to welcome Icarus Brewing to Brick Township and wish them great success in their new home,” Mayor Crate said at the event.

The opening of the new taproom highlights Brick Township’s commitment to fostering a vibrant local business environment and supporting economic growth in the community.
