BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 61-year-old man who was reported missing from his home in the Bronx. Jerome Smith was last seen at his residence on East 154th Street on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at around 12 p.m.

Smith is described as having brown eyes and gray hair, standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing around 130 pounds. Authorities did not provide a description of the clothing he was wearing when he was last seen.

The missing person case falls under the jurisdiction of the 40th Precinct. Police have not released any additional details regarding Smith’s possible whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

The NYPD encourages anyone with information on Smith’s location to contact the department immediately.
