BROOKLYN, NY – Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who allegedly groped a woman on a downtown Brooklyn street Tuesday morning before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred around 8:55 a.m. near the intersection of State Street and Hoyt Street, according to the NYPD.
Investigators said a 23-year-old woman was walking in the area when an unidentified man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks without consent. The suspect then ran eastbound on State Street and has not been apprehended. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
