Bronx, NY – Police are searching for four individuals believed to be behind a pattern of robberies targeting food delivery workers in the Bronx’s 44th Precinct. The incidents, which occurred weeks apart on the same stretch of Ogden Avenue, involved assaults and the theft of delivered food.
The first robbery was reported around 1:35 a.m. on Friday, January 30, when a 26-year-old man was making a delivery near 1472 Ogden Avenue. According to police, multiple individuals approached him, displayed a knife, and demanded the food before punching him repeatedly in the head and fleeing on foot.
Second attack follows similar pattern weeks later
A second incident was reported on Wednesday, February 11, at approximately 8:35 a.m., involving two delivery workers, ages 21 and 23, near 1435 Ogden Avenue. Police said multiple suspects approached the victims, demanded the food, and then punched and kicked them multiple times before fleeing with the order.
