OCEAN CITY, MD—The Ocean City Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating a weapon discarded by a suspect during a chase on April 13, around 6:45 p.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of First Street and Baltimore Avenue.

Described as critically important evidence related to a serious crime in another jurisdiction, the weapon’s recovery is of high priority. The police have assured that the weapon can be returned anonymously and a reward will be offered for its retrieval.
