Ocean County winner claims $160K Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from Waretown Sunoco

WARETOWN, NJ – A $160,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was claimed Sunday night by a lucky Ocean County player who matched all five winning numbers in the drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Sunoco, located at 406 Route 9 in Waretown. The winning numbers drawn were 22, 31, 32, 38, and 40. The Bullseye number was 40, and the XTRA multiplier was 02.

Sunday’s drawing marked the 57th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot win of the year. In addition to the grand prize, 11 other players matched four numbers and the Bullseye, each earning $500.

The Sunoco station will receive a $2,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket. The jackpot reset following the win and started again at $150,000 for the next drawing.
