Off-Duty NYCHA Employee Arrested on Traffic-Related Charges in 88th Precinct

NEW YORK, NY – Malachi Grant, a 25-year-old off-duty NYCHA employee, was arrested Saturday morning within the 88th Precinct on multiple traffic-related offenses.

Grant was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without inspection, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper plates, and unsafe lane change. The arrest took place at approximately 7:01 a.m. on September 30.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
