Off-duty NYPD lieutenant busted for DWI in Brooklyn early Saturday

An off-duty NYPD lieutenant was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning for driving while intoxicated in Brooklyn, according to police.

Mark Delossantos, 37, was taken into custody at approximately 1:57 a.m. within the confines of the 78th Precinct. He faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Ability Impaired, and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.

Delossantos, a lieutenant with the NYPD, was not on duty at the time of the arrest. Further details regarding the circumstances of the stop have not been released.
