East Sparta woman wins $50,000 on Ohio Lottery Cash Plus ticket sold in Canton
CANTON, OH – A Stark County resident struck it big with a $50,000 win on the Ohio Lottery’s Cash Plus scratch-off, purchased at a convenience store in Canton.
The winning ticket was sold at Mini Food Mart, located at 4730 Cleveland Avenue SW. The East Sparta woman who claimed the prize will receive $36,437.50 after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 27.125%.
Cash Plus is a $10 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $300,000. As of Thursday, two top prizes remain unclaimed, along with numerous other prize tiers still available.
The Ohio Lottery continues to support education across the state, contributing more than $34 billion to public education since its inception in 1974.
