Unclaimed $130,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot ticket sold in Strongsville
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Someone out there is holding a winning ticket worth $130,000 and may not even know it, after a Rolling Cash 5 jackpot hit during Wednesday night’s drawing — and as of Thursday, it still hasn’t been claimed.
The winning numbers drawn on January 15 were 8, 10, 17, 23, and 28. Lottery officials say the manual pick ticket matched all five numbers and was purchased at Marc’s grocery store located at 16224 Pearl Rd. in Strongsville.
The lucky ticketholder will receive $95,225 after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings of 26.75%. The odds of hitting the Rolling Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757.
Rolling Cash 5 is a daily lottery game where players choose five numbers from 1 to 39. Jackpots start at $100,000 and increase each day there is no winner, until someone matches all five numbers.
Drawings are held every evening at approximately 7:05 p.m., seven days a week.
The Ohio Lottery urges players to check their tickets and claim any winnings as soon as possible. The prize will remain unclaimed until the winner comes forward within the designated time frame.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to educational initiatives throughout the state.
