BRONX, NY — Police are searching for four suspects involved in a deadly shooting and robbery that occurred Sunday evening in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

At approximately 5:57 p.m. on December 15, four unidentified individuals approached a 24-year-old male and a 26-year-old male in front of 2025 Seward Avenue. The individuals struck the 24-year-old in the face with a firearm, causing a laceration, and discharged the weapon, striking the 26-year-old in the back.

The suspects then forcibly removed a wallet and cellphone from the 24-year-old victim before fleeing the scene on foot northbound on Olmstead Avenue.

EMS transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where the 26-year-old male was pronounced dead. The 24-year-old victim is listed in stable condition.

The NYPD has released images of the suspects and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.
