PATERSON, N.J. — The Paterson Police Department is advising residents and visitors to prepare for traffic delays and road closures this Sunday as the city hosts its annual Dominican Parade.

The parade, a major cultural celebration in the city, will lead to significant traffic disruptions throughout the day. The Paterson Parking Authority will have several parking garages open on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for a flat rate, providing options for those attending the event or navigating the city.

Available parking garages include:

  • Site 4: 22-24 West Broadway
  • Site 7: 80 Prospect Street
  • Site 10: 65 Ellison Street
  • Site 12 West: Veterans Place

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible to avoid congested areas.
