October 31, 2024

PITTSBURGH, PA- On Thursday, Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced the arrest of Khalil Taylor, a Pittsburgh man wanted on multiple warrants. Taylor, 29, had been a fugitive since May 2023, with probation violation bench warrants related to escape and firearms violations.

Taylor also had active arrest warrants for terroristic threats in Pittsburgh and simple assault in Pitcairn. Detectives gathered information this week about Taylor’s location at a residence on Heart Court in Homewood. They arrived at the residence shortly before 8:00 a.m. Thursday and arrested Taylor without incident.

Following the arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence. They recovered suspected hallucinogenic mushrooms and a Glock handgun. Taylor is now in the Allegheny County Jail facing new charges, including two firearms violations and two possession counts.
