Pleasantville officer honored for bravery and leadership in Employee of the Quarter nomination

Pleasantville, NJ – The Pleasantville Police Department has recognized Officer A. Brown for his outstanding service and dedication, nominating him for Employee of the Quarter in acknowledgment of his professionalism, courage, and consistent performance under pressure.

In less than three years with the department, Officer Brown has demonstrated maturity and sound judgment well beyond his experience level, officials said. His actions throughout 2025 showcased exceptional reliability during critical incidents, including a high-risk vehicle stop involving an armed fugitive, a violent juvenile altercation, and the rescue of a man pinned beneath a vehicle.

Officer Brown also played a key role in apprehending an armed robbery suspect, reflecting his commitment to public safety and tactical readiness. Beyond his operational duties, he serves as a Field Training Officer, mentoring new recruits and reinforcing the department’s values of accountability, teamwork, and community service.
