JACKSON- On Saturday afternoon at 1:23 pm, Police Officer Stephen Cilento responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on East Veterans Highway. The investigation resulted in the 47 year old female driver of 2014 Nissan being transported to an area hospital for treatment and blood being obtained for testing purposes due to signs of intoxication. Complaints were later prepared charging the driver with: driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.
