WILDWOOD CREST, N.J. – Cape May County authorities have identified the two people found dead earlier this week inside a Wildwood Crest residence as Donald Miller, 79, and Marion Miller, 79, both residents of the borough, officials announced Friday.
According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Crest Police Chief Robert Lloyd, officers discovered the couple inside a home on the 300 block of East Atlanta Avenue on Wednesday. Following a detailed investigation, including interviews, forensic testing, and autopsies conducted by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, preliminary findings indicate Marion Miller died from a single fatal gunshot wound, while Donald Miller’s death was ruled self-inflicted.
Investigators said there is no ongoing threat to the public. The case remains under investigation pending final forensic and medical examiner reports, and no further details will be released unless circumstances change.
