Man gunned down in Northwest Baltimore after predawn shooting
BALTIMORE, MD — A 37-year-old man died after being shot during a predawn burst of gunfire in Northwest Baltimore, police said Thursday.
Northwest District patrol officers responded around 3:16 a.m. May 7 to the 4400 block of Norfolk Avenue for reports of shots fired.
While searching the area, officers located a 37-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators said preliminary findings revealed the man was actually shot in the 4400 block of Fairview Avenue, where detectives established a crime scene.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
