Police investigate strong arm robbery outside Arundel Mills in Hanover

HANOVER, Md. – Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred Saturday afternoon in the parking area of Arundel Mills Circle.

Officers from the Western District responded around 3:50 p.m. on January 17 after a woman reported that a man approached her vehicle, reached through an open window, and grabbed her personal belongings before fleeing in a blue SUV. No weapons were used or displayed during the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a heavy build, wearing a white shirt.

Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Western District at 410-222-8760. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

Police are searching for a suspect who fled in a blue SUV after robbing a woman in her car outside Arundel Mills, authorities said.
