Police searching for man accused of groping teen girl on 6 train at Grand Central Station

Manhattan, NY – The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly groped a 15-year-old girl aboard a subway train at Grand Central Station during the Friday morning commute.

According to police, the incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. on December 5 aboard a northbound 6 train at the 42nd Street–Grand Central subway station.

Investigators said the suspect approached the victim and touched her over her clothing before fleeing the station on foot.

Suspect fled on foot after incident

The girl was not physically injured, police said, but immediately reported the assault to authorities. Detectives from the NYPD Transit Bureau are reviewing station and train surveillance footage as part of the investigation.

The suspect is described as a man with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded jacket, black pants, and black sneakers.
