Police seek suspects in knife-point robbery of teens aboard Queens bus

Queens, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a knife-point robbery that occurred on a city bus in the Rockaways earlier this month.

According to investigators, the incident took place around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5, aboard a Q22 MTA bus near Beach Channel Drive and Beach 108th Street, within the 100th Precinct.

Police said two 16-year-old boys were riding the bus when they were confronted by a group of individuals.

Suspects displayed knife, stole property

During the encounter, one suspect brandished a knife while another forcibly removed property belonging to the victims, according to police. The group fled the scene immediately after the robbery. No serious injuries were reported.

Investigators released photos of two individuals believed to be involved in the incident and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying them.
