Police seek suspect in forcible touching incident at Brooklyn subway station

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident that occurred at the Nostrand Avenue subway station in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

At approximately 11 p.m. on October 1, a 25-year-old woman was exiting the subway station when an unidentified male grabbed her buttocks, according to police. The suspect then fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 40 years old, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has a black beard and dark eyes and was last seen wearing a jacket, black sweatpants, white shoes, and a black skullcap.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the NYPD.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
