Police seek suspects in philadelphia mass shooting

Philadelphia, PA – Police in Philadelphia believe they have identified a vehicle used in connection to last night’s mass shooting incident that left seven people injured.

On Thursday, at 6:21 p.m., a mass shooting occurred on the 2800 block of Bambrey Street in Philadelphia’s 39th District. Police were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire.

The suspects are described as three unknown black males: two dressed in all black and one in all white. They were last seen driving a 2004-2008 charcoal gray Acura TSX with a missing front grille, a damaged rear trunk secured with a yellow tie-down strap, and numerous decals in the rear window. The vehicle, which also exhibits faded paint near the sunroof and a heavily damaged trunk, was last seen heading eastbound on Somerset Street toward 24th Street.

At the scene, no weapons were recovered, and no arrests have been made. The police have secured the area and the Shooting Investigation Group is actively investigating the incident.

Among the victims, a 46-year-old black female sustained a gunshot wound to her foot and a 29-year-old black female was shot in her right thigh; both were transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. A 23-year-old black male with a gunshot wound to his buttocks, a 19-year-old black male shot in his back, and a 34-year-old black female with a gunshot wound to her left hand were also transported to Temple University Hospital, with the 19-year-old in critical condition. A 16-year-old black female, who sustained two graze wounds, was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in stable condition, and an 18-year-old black female with a gunshot wound to her buttocks was transported to Temple University in stable condition.
