HOLMDEL, N.J. – Route 35 southbound is closed between Centerville Road and Laurel Avenue due to downed power lines, according to the Holmdel Township Police Department.

Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area as crews work to address the issue.

The incident was reported Saturday morning, and officials have not provided an estimated time for reopening.

“Route 35 southbound lanes between Centerville Road and Laurel Avenue are closed due to down power lines. Avoid the area,” the department said in a statement.

No injuries or outages have been reported.
