Power Outage in Holmdel Township Due to Downed Tree

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Police Department has reported a power outage on Heyward Hills Drive caused by a tree falling on electrical wires, which are currently down in the roadway.

Residents in the affected area are advised to stay indoors and avoid approaching any ground-level wires.

At this time, the outage is impacting only a small area. JCP&L has activated their “Storm Mode” but has not provided an estimated time for when power will be restored. Residents experiencing outages are urged to report them to JCP&L. The police also advise using caution while traveling tonight due to the current hazardous conditions.
