Powerball drawing delivers $50K prizes to two New Jersey players

TRENTON, N.J. — Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players are each $50,000 richer after matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing.

The winning tickets were sold at Phillipsburg Shell, located at 598 Memorial Parkway in Phillipsburg, Warren County, and at the Lukoil station at 100 East Kings Highway in Maple Shade, Burlington County. The winning numbers for the December 14 drawing were 12, 17, 23, 52, 67, with the Powerball number 01 and a Power Play multiplier of 2X.

Though no ticket claimed the $55 million jackpot, the two New Jersey winners secured the game’s third-tier prize, which requires matching four white balls and the Powerball.

The Double Play feature, a separate drawing for participating players, offered a top prize of $10 million. However, no ticket matched the Double Play numbers 12, 16, 36, 55, 64, and the Double Play ball 03.
