Queen Anne’s County Woman Wins $50K on Deluxe Crossword Scratch-Off

Stevensville, MD – A woman from Queen Anne’s County, known by her nickname “Baby Grand,” discovered that her Deluxe Crossword scratch-off ticket was worth $50,000 only after scanning it on the Maryland Lottery app. Initially, she thought she had won just $75.

The lucky winner, who enjoys playing extended-play tickets like crosswords and bingo, learned about her big win when scanning the ticket, revealing four black words and four red words, securing her the $50,000 top prize.

She plans to use the money to pay bills and save the rest.
