Seaside Park police welcome ‘Officer Jingles’ for holiday toy drive

SEASIDE PARK, N.J. – The Seaside Park Police Department is getting into the holiday spirit with the arrival of a special seasonal recruit known as Officer Jingles, who joins the force from the North Pole for December duty.

The department announced that Officer Jingles will work the A Squad night shift alongside Patrolman Stilton to help keep the borough safe through the holiday season.

He will also lead the department’s 13th Annual Christmas Toy Drive, which benefits the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

Toy donations accepted at multiple drop-off sites
Residents are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys at several collection points, including Police Headquarters, Borough Hall, the Sawmill, and during the annual Holiday Party hosted by TriBoro EMS this Sunday at 6 p.m.

All donations will be accepted until December 12 at 4 p.m., with police officials hoping to make this year’s collection the biggest yet. The drive has become a long-standing community tradition aimed at bringing joy to children and families in need.

The department invited residents to stop by any drop-off location to contribute and join in spreading holiday cheer.
