$100K Powerball ticket with Power Play sold at Sheetz in Fulton County
McConnellsburg, PA – A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Fulton County for the January 7 drawing, after matching four of the five white balls and the red Powerball using the Power Play option.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz, located at 720 Lincoln Way East in McConnellsburg Borough. Without the $1 Power Play add-on, the prize would have been $50,000, but the multiplier drawn was two, doubling the prize amount to $100,000.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 15, 28, 57, 58, 63, and Powerball 23.
The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket. The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize. All winnings over $5,000 are subject to applicable federal and state tax withholdings.
In total, more than 12,300 other Powerball tickets sold in Pennsylvania won prizes in the same drawing, including over 5,100 tickets with Power Play and more than 3,300 with Double Play.
The Powerball jackpot has rolled to an estimated annuity value of $124 million, or a $56 million cash option, for the next drawing on Saturday, January 10.
