Shot Spotter Alert Leads to Discovery of Shooting Victim in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — Early in the morning of August 1, Baltimore’s Eastern District police officers were dispatched following a Shot Spotter alert in the 1300 block of North Luzerne Ave. At the scene, they found a 29-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds deemed non-life-threatening.

The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Eastern District detectives are now actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
