Shotspotter Leads to Discovery Of Man Shot And Killed in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A homicide investigation is underway in Baltimore’s Southwest District following the discovery of an unresponsive male victim. The incident occurred early this morning at around 2:15 AM, in the unit block of N. Bentalou Street.

Officers responded to a Shotspotter alert and, upon canvassing the area, found the unidentified male victim who was not breathing. Medical responders confirmed that the victim had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case. The Baltimore Police Department is appealing to the public for any information related to the incident.
