Triple Shooting in Fort Washington Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

FORT WASHINGTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours yesterday morning. The incident took place in the 7500 block of Blanford Drive, Fort Washington.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Jarreau Sanders from Bowie. Tragically, Sanders was pronounced dead shortly after being driven to a hospital following the shooting. In the same incident, two other adults were shot: a male who is currently in critical condition and a female whose injuries are not life-threatening.

Detectives are working diligently to ascertain a motive and identify potential suspects. In this case, a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
