Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a young teen at knifepoint in broad daylight on Staten Island.
Staten Island, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery involving a 13-year-old boy earlier this month.
According to police, the incident occurred Tuesday, March 17, at approximately 3:05 p.m. in front of 1609 Castleton Avenue. The victim was approached from behind by an unidentified individual who displayed a knife.
Authorities said the suspect forcibly removed the victim’s property before fleeing the scene on foot to an unknown location.
Suspect remains at large after daytime robbery
Police have not released a description of the individual, and no arrests have been made as of Friday.
