SummerFest concert in Brick canceled due to weather, rescheduled for July 31

BRICK, N.J. — Brick Township Police announced the cancellation of Thursday night’s SummerFest concert due to forecasted inclement weather.

The performance by The Brit Pack was originally scheduled for the evening but was called off out of caution for safety concerns related to the weather. Officials shared the update Thursday afternoon via social media.

“Tonight’s SummerFest concert featuring The Brit Pack has been canceled,” the department said in a statement.

A make-up date for the event has been set for July 31, and it will include a fireworks show. The replacement performer has not yet been announced.

Police said further updates will be provided as the new concert date approaches. The Brit Pack is a tribute band known for covering British rock hits from multiple decades.

Town officials thanked residents for their understanding and urged them to monitor future announcements.
