Suspect Fires Gun at Another Man During Altercation in Aliquippa

ALIQUIPPA, P.A. — Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place early Saturday morning outside an apartment building in Aliquippa.

The City of Aliquippa Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at the Valley Terrace Apartments, located in the 500 block of Superior Avenue, at approximately 12:33 a.m. Officers learned that an argument between two men had escalated, resulting in one man firing a gun at the other.

The shooter, described as wearing a red hoodie and black jogging pants, fired three shots at the other man. Fortunately, the victim was not hit by any of the gunfire.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Authorities have identified the man responsible for the shooting, but his name has not been released pending the completion of the investigation.

The Aliquippa Police Department continues to investigate the incident and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
