MANHATTAN, NY – Police are searching for a man accused of forcibly touching a woman inside a Midtown 7-Eleven last week, authorities said.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the 7-Eleven located at 478 Third Avenue, within the area covered by the 17th Precinct. Investigators said a 31-year-old woman was shopping inside the store when an unidentified individual approached her from behind and touched her buttocks before quickly leaving the scene.
The victim was not injured, and police are now reviewing security footage from inside the convenience store as part of their investigation.
