**Dover, DE** – Delaware State Police and Dover Police Department have apprehended 18-year-old Sahir Samuels on multiple firearm-related charges after a stolen gun investigation.
In September, authorities began investigating a firearm theft in the 100 block of West Loockerman Street, identifying Samuels as the suspect. Samuels, a probationer prohibited from firearm possession, was arrested without incident Thursday by the Kent County Governor’s Task Force. During a probation search of his home, officers found a stolen Taurus 9mm handgun, a 3D printed Glock-style frame, trigger, mechanism, along with 9mm magazines and ammunition.
Following his arrest, Samuels was taken to Troop 3, charged, and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7. He is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $44,000 cash bond.
The charges against Samuels include felony counts of theft of a firearm, possession of an unfinished firearm frame or receiver without a serial number, possession of a firearm during a felony, and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a prohibited person. Additionally, he is charged with attempted possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number.

Howard County Police Recover Stolen Tools Valued Up to $5 Million
**Columbia, MD** – Howard County police have successfully recovered 18,600 stolen construction tools, in what is considered one of the most significant theft cases in the region’s recent history. The estimated value of these tools is between $3-$5 million.
Authorities have determined that the tools were stolen from various retail stores, businesses, vehicles, residential properties, and construction sites primarily located in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The stolen items were largely stored in Howard County storage units and suspect they were sold at multiple locations through diverse methods.
Police have identified 155 victims and are in the process of returning the stolen items to them. Following the investigation, Jose Aceves, 52, from Jessup, has been charged with a felony theft scheme.

Atlantic City Police Uncover Stolen Firearms
