BALTIMORE, Md. — A 15-year-old was taken into custody on November 2, 2024, following a brief chase after being found driving a stolen vehicle in Baltimore’s Southern District.
Officers initially responded to a call in the 200 block of Reedbird Avenue around 3:00 p.m., where the victim reported their vehicle missing. While officers were gathering information, detectives from the Southern District noticed a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle driving erratically toward Cherry Hill Road.
With assistance from County Air, police located the vehicle, at which point the juvenile suspect bailed out and attempted to flee on foot. After a short pursuit, officers apprehended the 15-year-old, who was then transported to Juvenile Booking for processing.
