Pittsburgh police arrest 18-year-old in Mount Washington drug and weapons raid

Pittsburgh, PA – A narcotics investigation in the Mount Washington area led to the arrest of an 18-year-old man after police recovered firearms, drugs, and cash during a coordinated raid, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police announced Friday.

Detectives with the Violence Prevention Unit obtained multiple search warrants targeting a residence, two vehicles, and an individual as part of an ongoing probe into suspected drug trafficking activity.

The warrants were executed with assistance from Pittsburgh SWAT. During the search, officers recovered three firearms, a quantity of marijuana, and approximately $1,000 in cash.

Gaquan Davis, 18, was arrested and faces several charges, including Persons Not to Possess a Firearm, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, narcotics-related offenses, and Prohibited Acts.

The case remains under investigation, and no additional arrests were announced at the time of the release.
