Teen girl reported missing after leaving Queens home police say

QUEENS, N.Y. – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 15-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving her home in Queens earlier this week.

Authorities said Alisson Mejia was last seen around 1 p.m. Sunday leaving her residence at 60th Place, within the confines of the 104th Precinct.

Mejia is described as a Hispanic female with a light complexion and slim build. She stands about 5 feet tall, weighs approximately 80 pounds, and has brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or submit a tip online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
