Teen robbed at gunpoint while selling clothing in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — A 17-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint while attempting to sell clothing in the Bronx, police said.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 21, at approximately 5:25 p.m. outside 1490 Boston Road. Five unidentified individuals approached the teen, displayed a firearm, and one of them punched him in the face.

The suspects stole the victim’s phone and other belongings, valued at approximately $3,050, before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

Police described the suspects as males and are continuing to investigate the incident.
