Teen Suspects Apprehended in D.C. Attempted Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC – The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District has announced the arrest of two teenage suspects involved in an attempted robbery in the Northwest area of the city. The incident, occurring on Saturday, March 23, at around 8:20 a.m., involved a victim who was confronted by three suspects on the 600 block of P Street, Northwest.

The assailants demanded money from the victim, who refused and was subsequently assaulted by one of the suspects. The victim managed to escape and alert a nearby patrol officer, leading to a prompt police response. Two of the suspects were quickly located and apprehended by officers canvassing the area.

The arrested individuals, both 15-year-old males from the Southeast and Northwest districts, have been charged with Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery. This case is still under active investigation, and the D.C.
