Teenager robbed at gunpoint by group in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. – A 17-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint by a group of five individuals on Monday evening while walking on Jennings Street, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. in front of 1000 Jennings Street. Authorities said one of the suspects displayed a firearm while the group forcibly took several items from the victim, including a jacket, book bag, wallet, debit and credit cards, and a green iPhone 13.

After the robbery, the suspects attempted to use the victim’s stolen credit card before fleeing westbound on Jennings Street on foot. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspects remain unidentified, and police are working to obtain security footage and additional information to aid in the investigation.
